Features

Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.

Sunburst chart

Full-disk scan completes in seconds, not minutes. Perceptually-uniform color ramp — your biggest files leap out the moment it's done.

Build-cache radar

node_modules, /target, .next, DerivedData — auto-detected and grouped. Reclaim gigabytes in one click.

Zoom any wedge

Drill into any folder to re-layout the chart on that subtree. Breadcrumb trail keeps you oriented.

Cloud drive support

iCloud Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox — LumaDisk maps what's actually stored there, including files that only live in the cloud, not just the copy synced to your disk. Google Drive arrives in v1.1.

Ships with macOS + Windows

Built with Rust and GPUI — the same GPU-accelerated stack powering Zed. Runs native on Apple Silicon and Windows ARM64. No Electron, ever.

Private by default

No telemetry, no analytics, no account. Cloud drives you connect talk straight to your provider — your data never reaches LumaDisk.

Performance

mapped in seconds.

Cloud Support

Scan any drive,
cloud storage included.

LumaDisk scans every drive connected to your machine — internal SSDs and HDDs, external drives, USB sticks, SD cards, and network volumes. And unlike most tools, it doesn't stop at your local storage: connect your cloud accounts and LumaDisk maps what's actually stored there — including files that only live in the cloud, not just the copy synced to your disk — with the same sunburst detail, so you always know exactly what's eating your quota.

v1.1
LumaDisk

OneDrive & Dropbox connect securely via OAuth — your sign-in stays on your device and nothing routes through LumaDisk. iCloud Drive is read from its local sync folder on your Mac. Google Drive support arrives in v1.1.

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Yes. Pay $5.89 once, own it forever. All future updates are free — including major versions. No subscriptions.

LumaDisk has no telemetry or analytics, and local scans never touch the network. The one exception is a cloud drive you connect yourself — it authenticates directly with your provider (Microsoft, Dropbox; Google Drive in v1.1) over OAuth, and your files are never routed through LumaDisk's servers.

External drives: yes, full support. Network volumes: read-only analysis is supported.

macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon, and Windows 10 or later on x86-64 and ARM64. Both versions are native — no Electron, no emulation.
